About Patti

I'll leave the official credentials and bio at the bottom of this page, and tell you my story here.

I have been aware of much more going on than "meets the eye" for many years.  From the "outside", my life has been what many would see as "normal".  I've been married for many years to a wonderful man.  We live in a small town not far from where I was born.  I worked as a teacher in the public school system for many years, brought home all kinds of apple gifts and learned so much from my beautiful and amazing students.

All the while, I realized that many things in the physical world simply did not make sense.  What was really going on?  What the heck were we doing here anyway?  I could sense the underlying energy that seemed to be "powering" things.  As I became more in tune with this energy, this led to a deeper connection, increased awareness, and some pretty amazing, very difficult to describe experiences.  As I became more aware, I realized more and more how amazing human beings really are.  Today, the way I see it, that unseen energy powering things here in the physical is God.  This energy is you, this energy is me, this energy is all that is.

There are many names used to describe this energy:  God, Universe, Creator, Mother Earth, ...  that does not change the energy, only the name used for it.

Back to my story! In the nineties, I was consuming all kinds of books that were related to the unseen world.  Louise Hay was one of my first inspirations, then Wayne Dyer, and on and on the list goes.  I began to connect with others who were asking the same types of questions I was and sometimes our experiences were similar; sometimes they were completely different.  I remember reading Betty J. Eadie's Embraced by the Light in the early nineties.  I read it cover to cover in one sitting, then sat and cried.  So much was validated for me in her experience.  At times I wondered what it would be like to go live on the side of a mountain somewhere and not leave until all the questions were answered.  My deepest desire was, and continues to be, complete spiritual enlightenment, to know truth, to know God.

Around 1998 I became aware of qigong while attending a women's health symposium.  I must have added my name to the mailing list and one day there appeared a notice in the mail of an upcoming course.  I really didn't know what qigong was, and the course fee was going to take a chunk out of my monthly budget, yet I felt compelled to write a check and take the course.  This was the beginning of the next phase of my journey.

I found the qigong healing techniques easy to learn and my "inner eye" already seemed to know what to do.  Learning qigong opened so many energetic "doors". I began seeing clients right away and a new phase of learning began.  I began to sense this unseen energy in different ways, and began to see patterns, flows, colors, and some yucky, stuck, denser energies that I came to know as "energetic blockages".  Clearing these blockages became like a challenging game to me; the bigger they were, the more excited I was to clear them out of the way.  At this point I wasn't sure how to explain some of the things I saw to my clients, but as long as they felt better they didn't seem to mind.

Somewhere along the way, around 2001, I discovered Young Living Essential Oils.  I started using them myself everyday, and today I don't leave home without them.  There have been times over the last ten years when the oils have helped me in ways that nothing else could have.  I really don't know what I would have done without them.  As my own energetic clearings were taking place, the oils supported me physically, mentally, emotionally, and spiritually. They have become an integral part of my life and I share them with others because I know how helpful they can be.  During sessions with clients, and for myself,  I have seen the oils support the "energetic clearing process" in some pretty powerful ways.  More about that in other sections of this site as well.

In 2008 I discovered SRT, or Spiritual Response Therapy.  I have found SRT to be very powerful, both for myself and ultimately for my clients.  In a nutshell:

"SRT is a system of researching the subconscious mind and soul records to quickly find and release the discordant, limiting ideas and replace them with loving, supportive ideas and beliefs. SRT provides an exacting, powerful, virtually painless and accurate way of changing the landscape of our inner and outer lives." Robert Detzler

As time progressed, my intuition grew and things just got more and more interesting.  I spent summers engrossed in learning new energy healing techniques and trying them out on myself and my clients.  It became clear that our "energy" encompasses our body, mind, emotions, and belief systems.  Every thought you think, every emotion you experience, and every belief you hold is a part of your energy field. I started following my intuition more and more and developed my own set of energetic clearing tools.  These were a combination of all that I had learned from other teachers and from my personal experiences with myself and with clients.

These last few years, 2008 to 2011, have been amazing, beautiful, intense, and a bit disconcerting.

The divine grace inherent within the human spirit continuously presents itself, and leaves me in awe.

What becomes disconcerting is how easily we can be manipulated if we are not energetically aware.

I began teaching "healing meditation" and "energy awareness" classes.  More and more people were showing up.  I am currently creating a more comprehensive, structured series of classes to share with others, in person and online. This website is my new forum from which to share, assist, and teach others what I have learned along my own journey. And I am really looking forward to blogging!  Once I figure out how to do that! Put that together with a Facebook page, learning how to Twitter, and the journey continues to evolve!

More and more questions have been answered. Of course, that means more and more questions have come up!  This has led me to adopt an ever evolving belief system.  I hesitate to subscribe to any dogma or doctrine.  I believe what God shows me.  I believe it is our birthright to have a direct connection to our source, to God.  For me, that is the only true source.  I respect that what I believe and what others believe may be very different.  There are many paths to truth, to God; I deeply respect and honor all of them.

As you'll see in other areas of this site, namely "Services""Testimonials", and "Articles" the story continues to unfold.

I'm so glad you are here!  Thank you for allowing me to share my story with you!
